The course is particularly aimed at people who have not made any decision about the Christian faith. It’s a great place to discover what it is about and if it is true. We expect people to challenge and evaluate everything that is said.

Very friendly and supportive environment – people are not pressured to believe what they do not want to. Its an environment that encourages people to explore wherever they are at on the journey of spiritual formation, in a safe environment, and to compare that with the claims of Jesus. The course is both intellectual and practical, with many helpful stories.

Alpha is a short, practical exploration of the Christian faith. As you can see, it includes the option of a weekend away. This is a key part of the course, when we consider the topic of the Holy Spirit. This weekend is also great fun, so please write the dates in your diary now. Further details will be available in coming weeks.

Each evening begins with dinner at 7pm and includes a video talk as well as an opportunity to meet in groups to discuss and explore the video topic.

Session 8	Why and how should we tell others?
Session 9	Does God heal today?
Session 10	What about the Church?
