Our Staff
Greg Liston is our Senior Pastor, and is responsible for leading and feeding the congregation. He loves telling people about Jesus, challenging them to find their God-given calling, and watching them blossom and grow in it. He is passionate about Hillsborough Baptist being a close reflection of the Kingdom of God. Greg is married to Diane, a trained early childhood educator, who loves being a full time mother to their children: Emily (8) and James (5).

Ravi Musuku is one of the Pastor's to our Global Service Congregation. Married to Alice, a school teacher, they have two daughters Beulah and Hannah. Ravi is recognised as a key leader in the Indian Community and is passionate about helping new immigrants discover the reality of Jesus Christ and also assimilating them into the NZ culture. Ravi is currently also pursuing a political career path.
Craig Allan has returned to NZ after 11 years living in South Australia. He has worked with Youth With A Mission for 8 years. Craig has completed his theological training, lectured P/T in the Old Testament and been the Associate Pastor of a Baptist Church in the Adelaide Hills. His passion is to see young people living like Jesus and wanting to make a Kingdom contribution with their lives. Craig is married to Nadine and they have four children, Jessica (13), Grace (11), Max (8) and Molly (5).
Raewyn Miller is our Family Ministries Director. She is passionate about seeing families strengthened in the Church and wider community. She brings an extensive teaching experience with children and adults to her role. Raewyn has a keen interest in helping people develop good mental and emotional health. Resourcing and equipping teams that work with our children is one component of her work. The other is supporting and encouraging parents along the journey, so that all can experience God in their family relationships. Raewyn is blessed with three children. Brad (24), Hayley (22) and Ethan (15), who have their own faith in god. They enjoy serving in HBC ministries and the wider community.
Eamon Sullivan along with his wife Emma, are keen to see all people experience the transforming power of the gospel in their lives. Eamon was a bricklayer before following God's call to care, nurture and challenge God's people. He is the intern pastor of our Global congregation and is currently finishing his training at Carey Baptist College. He is also taking care of the Alpha ministry. Eamon and Emma love hanging out with people and watchin sport (well, Eamon does - Emma loves shopping). They have 3 awesome children Samuel 15, Jessica 14 and Micah 6.
Nadine Allan is our Community worker. Passionate about building bridges to meet with the needs of the Community and drawing them into a closer relationship with the Church Community. She works alongside her husband Craig Allan, who is our Youth Pastor, and works with our young people. She is also a busy Mum looking after their 4 children.
Val Owen has been involved in our church office for over 13 years and comes in to relieve for the Office staff at various times throughout the year. One of her main responsibilities is remembering where everything is because she's been on staff the longest! Val thrives on the challenges that our computer systems provide & keeping up with the ever increasing technological know how. She also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren & going the 'extra mile' to help out wherever needed.
Joanna Martin has worked in the church office Monday to Thursday for two years now and has been attending church with her husband Greg and twins 8 years old sons, Caleb and Ethan for about three years. Her challenge is to fit the church office requirements into her four six hour days and then help run her husband's business from home, whilst keeping up with her children's activities.
Grace Machin works in the office on Fridays. She helps with the Office administration/accounts & enjoys getting creative. She is a Certified Personal Trainer, with a passion for Health & Fitness. She enjoys encouraging others and is studying at AUT towards a Bachelors degree in Sport & Recreation. Grace is one of our 10.30am Worship Leaders and has been attending HBC for about 7 years now.
