Parenting Courses

We value parenting and family at HBC. There are 2 strands to the courses we offer. One strand is aimed at strengthening families within our communities. To this end we run Toolbox courses from Parents Inc. The tools that we explore are so relevant and helpful to every family, and people are so thrilled with what they learn and practice. By the end of 6 weeks friendships are built, and families are that little bit stronger. Parents begin to realise how important is their task, and feel affirmed in the effort they put in. 

Each year we will run one each term, in the evenings. In providing this resource we also work to build friendships with people, continually praying and seeking for people who are spiritually hungry, and encourage those ones to go on to attend an Alpha course. Everyone receives a simple and attractive book about God at the end of each course.

Run fortnightly at the church as extra support & friendship for parents.
You can be guaranteed of coffee and calories at any of our events, and we try to spoil everyone with excellent hospitality. Meets on Tuesday mornings. Please contact the church office (6255050) to find out more information.
